Plot Twist: None of Us Know What We're Doing

Tyro.Club is a tiny rebellion against perfectionism. A place to do things you’re bad at, make questionable creative decisions, and generally resist the urge to become an expert before you’ve had any fun. Try a new skill. Make something weird. Be gloriously mediocre.

This button does nothing, but has big dreams.

Code of Conduct-ish

Blah, blah, blah. Try something new. Got it... But there are rules. (Calm down, Chad). Here are the keys to keeping the vibes high and the expectations appropriately low.

Rule 1: Come as you are.

Grease-stained sweatpants and a messy bun? Same. Social battery at 2%? Grunts are a perfectly valid form of communication. There’s no expectation to perform, impress, or have it all together. Just show up.

Rule 2: Make bad art well.

No talent required. No judgment allowed. Make something weird. Make something terrible. But make the damn thing, and do it with your whole chest. Trying is the whole point. Curiosity over competence.

Rule 3: Share the light.

Make room. Hype each other up. Pass the mic. We’re here to make each other braver, not smaller. Nobody needs to elbow someone else out of the spotlight. We can just turn on more lights. Obvs.

Got something to say?

Bold choice.
